Amargo

Means "bitter" with no additives such as sweetener, milk, etc.It is mate in it's purest form.

Bombilla

Stainless steel metal straw with the filter at the end that is used to drink to mate out of a gourd.

When the mate or thermos gets sweetened with sugar, stevia milk etc.

Lavado

Washed out mate after many cycles of drinking it.

Mate Gourd

Hollowed cup where the yerba mate is put into as well as the straw.

Thermos

Vessel that carries the hot water to pour into the gourd, and keeps it hot for up to 18 hours.

Infusion of Yerba Mate traditionally from Paraguay that is prepared with cold water and ice instead of hot water.
